Our demo programs are the actual programs with obvious limitations built in.
Unlike slide show demos where you cannot interact with the program, our
demos allow you to see exactly how a program works and how it works on
your printer. You should never have to purchase software unseen. Only you
know if you can run the software or if it will do what you want. Software is
a tool to make life easier and more productive. Don't buy sight unseen.
Tips on buying software
Note:
It is very important
that you try our demo programs thoroughly on your
printer before purchasing. Our DOS programs support Epson/IBM compatible dot matrix (printers using the ESC/P or ESC/P2 printer languages)and HP compatible laser/inkjet printers (printers using the PCL printer language). Should you have problems printing from our software, check our printer problems page. We are in the process of writing versions for WINDOWS PRINTERS.
Advantage of our D.O.S. programs
This demo file DEMOS.EXE contains a menu to run all our demo programs. It is a self extracting
file that contains all the R*KOM demo programs. When the file DEMOS.EXE is run, it will extract all the files and run the menu. The menu will allow you to select the program(s) you are interested in. To use the demo again, go to the rkomdemo subdirectory (folder)and run DEMOMENU.EXE.
